Khaliq-uz-Zaman Khan possesses over 30 years of experience, specializing in legal and corporate affairs. He is an Advocate of the High Court, enrolled with the Punjab Bar Council in 1994, and a Barrister-at-Law, having been called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 1991 after practicing from chambers at Middle Temple, London. Since his return to Pakistan in December 1993, he has consulted for local and multinational companies in Pakistan and worked with corporate and commercial law firms in Lahore and Islamabad.

His academic qualifications include an LL.B. (Hons.) degree from the University of Wolverhampton Law School, England (1989), and an LL.M. degree from the University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies. Khaliq-uz-Zaman Khan has lectured in law at various institutions in England and Pakistan, including the Punjab University Law College, the National Institute of Public Administration, the Foreign Service Academy, and the National Institute of Banking and Finance.

Mr. Khan’s expertise spans corporate and commercial laws, international transactions, banking, project finance and financial services laws, privatization and regulatory laws, oil and gas and energy and power laws, telecommunication, media and information technology laws, tax laws, and litigation and commercial arbitration. He has specifically served as a consultant to local and multinational power companies.
